This is a beautiful collectible hardcover book (green leather bound in slipcase). The Hobbit was the first fantasy story that unlocked the later masterpieces by Tolkien (The Lord of the Rings trilogy and The Silmarillion). This book is still in fantastic condition! The slipcase has very minimal shelfwear, but the book itself is pristine. Clean, tight, and like-new.
This vintage edition would be an amazing Christmas gift for fans of Tolkien's works or of the films by Peter Jackson. This collectible is a great addition to the library of anyone who loves fantasy!
